BSI was founded in 1988 and is privately owned. BSI began business operations specializing in the design, development and management of Voluntary Worksite Benefit and Self-Insured Health Plan programs. Since then BSI has grown to include employee benefits consulting & planning, group benefits management and program implementation, benefits communication and eligibility maintenance.

BSI can serve the needs of small to medium-sized clients in the Mid-Atlantic region in any industry category with specialized focus in health care, legal, retirement/assisted living, manufacturing, wholesale/retail, communication, financial, government/municipalities, and others.
